Tools
For your convenience and optional use as needed, an array of system tools has been made available to you. Clicking on the "Tools" link in the Course Menu will display a list of links to enabled course management tools and resources that you might find of interest.

As you gain experience in the MAT-SE Online!
courses, you will identify the tools that are most useful to you
personally. For example, the "Science Toolkit" includes metric
conversion, chemistry, mathematics, physics, and astronomy tools, plus a
periodic table, glossary and dictionary, and a calculator! You may use any or all of these as you choose throughout the semester, but be advised that 'course tools' are different from 'institutional tools' (those that you access in your Student Portal). In particular, please note that you can access a BlackBoard "User Manual" by clicking on the appropriate link toward the bottom of the display. Although most functions are fairly intuitive, you might find the presentation of this reference document of interest at some point. Have fun learning!
