Note that there is a slight difference in terminology between the text and our discussion here. In the text, the term "corner-point" solution refers to the solution of any given pair of defining equations. If the corner-point solution satisfies all constraints, then it is called a "corner-point feasible" (CPF) solution; otherwise, it is called a corner-point infeasible solution. Thus, the term "a CPF solution" in the text corresponds to the term "a corner-point solution" in our discussion.
