My research has an interdisciplinary flavor, encompassing various areas in computer science, computer engineering and telecommunications engineering. I investigate important aspects of (sequential, parallel, distributed) computing and (LAN and WAN, wireless and optical) communications, such as theory, algorithms, protocols, hardware, software, system architectures, reliability, performance evaluation, resource optimization, implementaion feasibility, and applications. My goal is to make important impact on high-performance computing and communications through creative research.
