(1990) [see item 29., at http://www.utdallas.edu/~tres/neuro_pubs.html], calcium channel blockers can also reverse this age-dependent reduction in excitability in aging hippocampal neurons in living mammals, indicating a potential to reverse age-associated learning impairments.
