Postdoctoral Position in Microfluidics and bio-MEMS

A post-doc research fellowship position is available beginning immediately to work on the development and modeling of microfluidic bio-MEMS for nanoparticle manipulation and detection. A Ph.D. in engineering and expertise in microfluidics and MEMS fabrication in a cleanroom environment are required. Experience and skills in microfluidic modeling software (e.g. ANSYS) and nanoimprint/soft lithography are desired. The candidate is expected to work well in a highly interdisciplinary and collaborative environment in the new $85 million, state-of-the-art Natural Science and Engineering Research Building of the University of Texas at Dallas . The project is in collaboration with professors from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas , TX . Competitive salary and benefits depending on experience will be offered to quality candidates. Contract length is on a yearly basis, which is renewable based on performance.
