Chinese Language Proficiency Tests: HSK、 HSKK、YCT、BCT

Confucius Institute at UT Dallas is the only authorized testing center for the following Chinese Language Proficiency Tests in northern Texas

HSK often dubbed "Chinese TOEFL," is an international standard test to assess the Chinese language proficiency of non-native speakers engaged in daily life and social      activities. Test score is a must to apply to study in China’s universities.

HSKK is to measure Chinese learners’ speaking skills. It includes three levels: HSKK (Basic), HSKK (Intermediate) and HSKK (Advanced). Test score is decided by test taker’s on-site performance recorded by the test supervisor

YCT (Youth Chinese Test) is an international standardized Chinese language test which aims to examine non-native primary and secondary school students’ ability to apply Chinese language in their studies and daily life.

BCT (The Business Chinese Test) is a state-level standard test established to assess non-native speakers' capabilities of applying Chinese language in business environment.
