Description of Course:
Science Fiction as a genre of imaginative narrative that explores the implications of developments in science and technology. Topics may include space travel, time travel, artificial life forms, encounter with alien beings, alternate worlds/history, future societies, and the evolution of the human race. May be repeated for credit as topics vary (6 semester credit hours maximum). Prerequisite: HUMA 1301 or equivalent.
