Description of Course:
Readings, commentary, and discussion aimed at introducing a variety of texts and sources with an emphasis on the major methods appropriate to their use. This course should be taken prior to completing the first 12 hours of upper-division course work in the program. It is normally offered only during the fall and spring semesters. Prerequisite: HIST 1301, HIST 1302, HIST 2301, HIST 2330, HIST 2331, or equivalent.
