Description of Course:
Digital Painting, Drawing, Print (3 semester credit hours) is an upper level studio art course which investigates various digital painting, drawing, and printmaking techniques and their place in both contemporary art and contemporary studio practice. Topics covered include preparation of progressional quality digital artworks, art production in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and other programs, fine art digital printmaking, and experimental new-media painting (gif, glitch, CNC drawing, video, etc). Students will create original artworks in their style or program of choice while responding to specific assignment prompts.
