Advanced Spanish Culture

Description of Course:

Advanced Spanish Culture I is a course designed to explore Hispanic culture in context. Through films, students will be able to improve their critical thinking skills, and to develop their proficiency in listening, writing and speaking.
The course aims to provide the students with lexical and grammatical tools in order to allow them to engage in formal and informal discussion on a variety of topics informed by the films provided.
By the end of the course, students should have a very strong command of the four basic language skills: listening comprehension, speaking, reading and writing, and they will also be qualified to take other 4000 level courses.

Course Requirements/Evaluation Criteria:

You must have finish taken SPAN 3366 or equivalent previous of taking SPAN 4364.
