Description of Course:
This course is the second semester of a two-semester intermediate-level review of French. This course is designed to reinforce the material learned in previous French courses. You will expand proficiency through coursework, homework, and practice using the language. You will also develop a deeper understanding of the diverse aspects of societies and cultures in francophone areas of the world. Since regular oral practice is essential for improving proficiency in a foreign language, daily attendance and active participation are necessary for your success in this course.

Course Requirements/Evaluation Criteria:
This course is designed for students who have the equivalent of 3 university-level semesters of previous experience in French. Each student is required to show proof of eligibility in order to register. Students who have studied French previously (in high school, for instance) may be eligible to register for the course by taking the placement test at
