DESCRIPTION OF COURSE:
Students undertake a new learning experience at a supervised work situation related to their academic interests. An internship provides exposure to a professional working environment, application of theory to working realities, and an opportunity to test skills and clarify goals. Course requirements include formal and reflective writing. May be repeated for credit (6 hours maximum). Graded credit/no credit only. ([1-3]-0) R

There isn't a textbook required for the class. Students must create or update their CometCareers account with the Career Center.
COURSE REQUIREMENTS/EVALUATION CRITERIA:
Students turn in two memos on assigned topics, keep a daily journal, and prepare a final paper or give a presentation summarizing their experience.
