Digital Cinematography

Description of Course:

This course will be an introduction to the principles and techniques of cinematography through lectures, screenings, and studio practices. The class is designed to enhance students’ knowledge of camera, lenses, lighting, layout and editing, all in the service of visual storytelling.

Students should have a basic understanding of film and composition. Strong foundation in art is required to take this. Anyone who is interested in layout, camera, editing, and lighting for film, video, animation, games or photography will appreciate this class.
