Course Title
Creating Nonfictions

Description of Course:

This course will focus on the composition and reading of of original creative work drawn from such sources as historical accounts, essays, biography, and autobiography. The course will proceed as a combination workshop and lecture and will focus on examples of creative nonfiction in various published forms. Students will be required to produce a number of original works of nonfiction that incorporate the elements of rhetorical style, grammatical forms, and imaginative writing for peer review and critique. This will be a reading/writing-intensive class, and complete attendance is required.
