Course Title
Intermediate Chinese II

Description of Course:

This course is a continuation of Intermediate Mandarin Chinese I. Although it is mainly designed for those who have successfully completed 3 semesters’ study of Integrated Chinese, other students with the same level of language proficiency or above are also welcome to participate. Listening comprehension and oral communication skills will be further enhanced to enable students to express more sophisticated ideas. With vocabulary building and grammar structure learning, students will be able to read character-text at a higher level and write small essays in characters on content-specific topics. Heritage speakers will be given supplementary reading materials and topics for writing to accommodate their individual special needs.
