Description of Course:
Intermediate Spanish II builds on Intermediate Spanish I, both in the classroom and online, introducing learners to more advanced vocabulary and structures, while at the same time reinforcing language acquired in previous semesters.
All four skills involved in learning a foreign language (listening, speaking, reading and writing) will be integrated into the course work and evaluations.

Course Requirements/Evaluation Criteria:
Successful completion of Spanish 2311 (Intermediate Spanish I) at UTD or its equivalent at another college or university. The requirement may also be met by CLEP or AP. All other students MUST take the assessment exam found here: http://www.utdallas.edu/ah/students/language_placement.html.
Students must provide their score to advisers to enroll and bring them the first day of class.
*You need not take the exam if prior courses and/or credit by exam scores satisfy SPAN course prerequisites (this includes credit through courses at UT Dallas, transfer credit, and AP or CLEP credit).
