Description of Course:
Designed to introduce students to intellectual inquiry in various fields of the humanities, this course focuses on the quality of character known as heroism.

Course Requirements/Evaluation Criteria:
Four assignments, each worth 25% of your course grade, will be turned in on time throughout the semester; these assignments include two exams, an oral report on and accompanying analysis of an assigned film, and a final project. Course requirements also include attendance and participation. The quality of those two elements will decide cases of borderline grades.
