Fall 2016 - Undergraduate Course Descriptions
Description of Course:
Students in this advanced creative writing course will have already acquired some basic storytelling skills. In this course they will refine those skills, as they utilize their imaginations and draw upon their experiences to create three original short stories. At least one of these stories will be set in a historical or futuristic time period.

Course Requirements/Evaluation Criteria:
In addition to producing three original pieces of creative work, students will read and analyze fictional stories by well-known contemporary writers. They will produce written critiques of classmatesâ€™ work on at least three occasions, and they will participate in in-class workshop sessions.
