Thibault Cauvin is one of the most talented, charismatic and sought-after guitarists in the world today. The 27-year-old Parisian is traveling the globe throughout the year at the invitation of the most prestigious festivals and concerts hall. Between New York and Hong Kong, San Paolo and Istanbul, London and Melbourne or Singapore and Tel-Aviv, he shares his music with us. The young prodigy has already given more than 1000 concerts worldwide, unanimously recognized by the critics. He has also participated in many TV and radio programs and collaborated with famous musicians, composers and symphony orchestras. Despite his young age, Thibault is regularly invited by the most prestigious conservatories, universities and festivals throughout the world to give master-classes, lectures or to judge competitions.

From a family of musicians, Thibault began learning the guitar with his father at the age of 6 years. After graduating from the Bordeaux and Paris conservatories, Thibault embarked on the international concourse circuit. At the age of 20, he was the first and only guitarist worldwide to win 13 international first prizes. With a background in contemporary music from family influences, along with his classical training at the Conservatoires, Thibault has developed a unique style making him what he is today: an ambassador of the 'new' classical guitar. He combines the quality and beauty of the instrument with a youthful passion to present a rich, intense and modern repertoire.

His fourth album, "N°4", released in 2009 by the famous American label "GSP San Francisco", received great acclaim. This CD, composed of modern music and influenced by various musical styles, gives a new dimension to the guitar. The beautiful documentary directed by Nicolas Pierre Morin during the tour "Thibault Cauvin across China" is now out on DVD. This film puts into images the busy daily schedule of our prodigy, his travels, interviews, hotels, master classes, and wonderful encounters, with memorable extracts from his 10 concerts around China.
