The Confucius Institute at UT Dallas presents an afternoon of Chinese music and dance by a performing troupe of 16 students from Southeast University, our partner university in China. The program features ancient and modern Chinese music and songs, a variety of traditional Chinese musical instruments, traditional Chinese dance and Peking Opera. The troupe will take us on a springtime outing where we will experience the intoxicating harmony of wind, rain, thunder, twittering of birds, capering of animals, fragrance of plants and other vibrant phenomena of nature in the springtime through music and dance.
