Chinese Culture Week organized by the Confucius Institute at UT Dallas is a series of cultural, social and educational events highlighting the diverse culture and rich history of China. The annual weeklong festival features exhibitions, lectures, performances, movies and other various Chinese cultural activities.  It provides the participants an opportunity of experiencing authentic culture and heritage of China.


NOV. 18 – OPENING: A lecture on the Five Elements in traditional Chinese Medicine, on-the-spot giveaway program, delicious Chinese food and fun games

Time:  7:30 p.m.      Place: Chinese Culture Experience Corner (Lobby of the 4th floor of Jonsson Building)


NOV. 19 – FILM: The Grandmaster
(starring Tony Leung and Ziyi Zhang)

Time: 7:30 p.m.       Place : Jonsson Performance Hall


NOV. 20 – LECTURE:  Traditional Chinese Medicine: Rationale and Practice by Grandmaster Fu Wei Zhong

Time:   7:30 p.m.      Place: Jonsson Performance Hall


NOV. 21 – WORKSHOP: Traditional Chinese Medicine: Rationale and Practice (On-the-spot diagnosis, instructions on body-fitting Qigong)

Time:   7:30 p.m.       Place: Jonsson Performance Hall


NOV. 22 – CLOSING CEREMONY with delicious Chinese food and wonderful performance
