Walk in U.S., Talk on Japan

Join us for a panel discussion with five fascinating individuals selected by the Prime Minister’s Office of Japan for the program “Walk in U.S., Talk on Japan.

The purpose is to promote understanding of Japan by dispatching experts in various fields to interact with American people on the grassroots level.  The Dallas delegation will be led by The Honorable Ken Shimanouchi, former Japanese Ambassador to Spain and Brazil, and will include Tadao Kawasaki, former executive with Nippon Sheet Glass Company; Keijiro Hata, Vice Commandant of the Air Defense Command, Japan Air-Defense Force;  Yoko Chivas, Officer of Mitsui Sumitomo Bank; and Yohei Komatsuzaki, Keio University student.


Presented by the University of Texas at Dallas Asia Center and the Consulate-General of Japan in Houston.
