Dark Circles Contemporary Dance

An evening of dance by the UTDance Ensemble with works ranging from whimsical to dramatic.

UT Dallas faculty members Michele Hanlon, Misty Owens and Micki Saba, as well as our guest Sarah Matzke from Dark Circles Contemporary Dance, have choreographed this performance of the UTDance Ensemble.

Our two guest companies will also be performing works of their own in the UTDance Ensemble concert. Dark Circles will be performing two works by director Joshua Peugh: "Slump," a work originally commissioned and produced by Bruce Wood Dance Project, and "Critics of the Morning Song," which premiered as part of the performance program “Level UP” on October 26, 2014 at The Dance Gallery Festival in the Ailey Citigroup Theatre in New York.  The Chamberlain Performing Arts will be performing "A Magic Door" by Anastasia Waters.
