Photoworks 2016 represents a selection of creative work completed by advanced photography students from the University of Texas at Dallas, curated by faculty member Marilyn Waligore. The exhibiting artists include Kendalyn Aldridge, Natalie Barletta, Ciara Bryant, Jose Diaz, Jonathan Dolton, Megan Sanders, Kelsey Webb. Their work investigates topics including the dialogue between human perception and camera optics, staged imagery involving the human form, reflections on self and identity, and observations of the function of objects in the context of the everyday.
