Faculty at Five: Mexican Guitarist Rodolfo Perez Berrelleza

Rodolfo Pérez Berrelleza will be performing works such as Sonata Mexicana, Allegro Moderato, Andantino Affetuoso, Allegretto In Tempo Di Serenata, Tres Canciones Populares Mexicanas.

Bio: Rodolfo Pérez Berrelleza began his musical studies at the Autonomous University of Sinaloa with Mr. Heriberto Soberanes and later moved to the National School of Music (UNAM) in Mexico City, where he obtained a Bachelor degree in classical guitar at the Chair of Prof. Juan Carlos Laguna. He has had master classes and courses with Manuel Barrueco, Leo Brouwer, Zoran Duckic, Costas Costasiolis, David Tanembaum, Victor Pellegrini, Ricardo Gallén and many others.

Rodolfo has been performing in major theaters in Mexico, the United States and Europe for over ten years. In 2005 he founded the Guitar Trio "Culiacan" and has been invited as a soloist by orchestras from Italy and Mexico.
