Dr. Abzug will talk about the complex and varied worlds of European Jewry lost in the Shoah, and the insufficient attention paid to their character and place within the pre-war European community by post-Holocaust scholarship and popular culture.

Dr. Robert H. Abzug is the Audre and Bernard Rapoport Regents Chair of Jewish Studies at The University of Texas.
