Comer Collection: Representation and Presentation in Photography - Art Exhibition

Friday, January 18, 2019 – Saturday, February 16, 2019,
January 18 – February 16: Art Exhibition: SP/N Gallery at Synergy Park North 2 In representing reality, photography reproduces, at a visual level, the cultural and ideological aspects of its society. At the same time, photography can be used to decodify and question society’s principles by presenting reality itself in a way that promotes critical thinking about its criteria and norms. By discussing photography according to the concepts of representation and presentation the curator describes its development from the beginning of the 20th century to now.
