Reflections on a Common Ground

This collaborative project brings together the UTDance Ensemble and the Transitory Sound and Movement Collective with live music from the UT Dallas University Choir and UT Dallas Chamber Singers directed by Jonathan Palant with Artem Arutyunyan playing piano.

Residency artist Jennifer Mabus will premiere new choreographic work that will be submitted at the American College Dance Association 2019, as well as a variety of new dance works from Micki Saba, Melissa Johnson and Misty Owens. In addition to the work for the UTDance Ensemble, Jennifer will bring her professional collaborators in The Transitory Sound and Movement Collective to perform at the concert.

Thursday:

The Thursday concert is free and begins at 8:00 p.m.!

Friday:

On Friday, the My Possibilities Choir (directed by Adam Tarver) will perform a Pre-Show Concert at 7:00 p.m. My Possibilities is a Plano-based non-profit that is a leader in vocational education for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout North Texas.

Saturday:

On Saturday, The Dallas Street Choir (directed by Jonathan Palant with Mary Medrick playing piano) will perform a Pre-Show Concert at 7:00 p.m. followed by a talk-back with Dean Kratz as moderator. The DSC will then perform with the UT Dallas Dance ensemble.
