Photoworks 2019 represents a selection of creative work completed by advanced photography students from the University of Texas at Dallas, curated by faculty member Marilyn Waligore. Photographs of the human form at times involve collaboration between the photographer and sitter.  Portraits and figure studies are imagined in the studio, autobiographical narratives are staged in personal, private spaces, and documentary images reveal evidence of vulnerability.  Investigations of urban space record human traces within abandoned structures and nocturnal views of architectural environments suggest the otherworldly. Exhibiting artists include Iris Brawley, Brody Epstein, Cesar J. Garcia, Abigail Geisthardt, Ben Han, Erin Jang, and Alaa Nasser.

Reception: Thursday, April 11, 7:00 - 8:30 p.m.

Nebula Gallery, McDermott Library, MC 3.504
Hours:  Monday - Friday,  8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
