Ackerman Center Sunday Lecture Series: Dr. Nils Roemer

Presented by the Ackerman Center for Holocaust Studies, this year’s Professor Lecture Series will inlcude a lecture presentation by Dr. Nils Roemer, Stan and Barbara Rabin Professor of Holocaust Studies, on "Deportation and Liberation in the Final Year of the Third Reich". A small reception in the Ackerman Center will be held after the lecture.

All lectures will be held at 2 p.m. in JO 4.614

Dr. Nils Roemer is the director of the University’s Ackerman Center for Holocaust Studies, which offers graduate seminars, an annual conference and lecture series, and an extensive library for scholars. Roemer’s research interests lie in the fields of modern and Jewish history, with a specific emphasis on German-Jewish history. He has a particular interest in cultural and intellectual history. Roemer offers graduate supervision in the areas of modern European and modern Jewish history, literature, art and philosophy.
