Cinematheque: Apollo 11

Wednesday, September 4, 2019, 7:00 p.m.
Venue: SSA 13.330
Admission: Free
Season: 2019-20

Cosponsored by Meteor Theater, each evening features a different independent film followed by a short question and answer session with members of the industry.

A cinematic event 50 years in the making, join Meteor Theater as we relive the historic moon landing through Apollo 11. Using entirely archival NASA footage and recordings, this is the closest that we have come to being a part of the moon landing.

After the film, Dr. John Hansen will talk about his work on restoring the NASA archival audio to use in the film.
