MISS JULIE Directed by Thomas Riccio. For Miss Julie, please prepare a one minute monologue from the script OR another piece that is similar in style. Synopsis: This 19th century naturalistic work follows the title character through a Midsummer’s Eve on the estate of a Swedish count. Written by August Strindberg, Miss Julie explores themes of life and death, Darwinism and class. ALHAMBRA Written and Directed by Fred Curchack. Calling all actors, musicians, dancers, video artists. No preparation is necessary for the ALHAMBRA audition. Synopsis: A dream journey through Spain’s art, architecture, poetry, music and dance, and the wonders and horrors of its Christian/Muslim/Jewish/Gypsy legacy. A tragical - comical - hysterical - historical - phantasmagorical - theatrical spectacle with acting, video, dance, music, rap, and visionary visual effects.
