Texas Teaching Conference: Evening Symposium

Dr. James Grossman, the executive director of the American Historical Association (AHA), is speaking at the University of Texas at Dallas as part of the Fifth Annual Texas Teaching Conference on Introductory History Courses on Friday and Saturday, September 20-21. On the first day of the conference, the School of Arts and Humanities is hosting a dinner meeting with Dr. Grossman. History graduate students, Advanced Placement and dual credit history teachers, and introductory history instructors are welcome to attend. Dr. Grossman will explain how to maximize opportunities for teaching, research, and academic hiring through a professional organization. Registration is free but limited to 30 participants.
