The University of Texas at Dallas Printmaking facility offers an intimate yet well equipped studio with computer access. Silkscreen and intaglio (etching) are offered as auxiliary experimental art making processes. These applied techniques may be combined with photography, digital technology, drawing, painting and sculpture to allow students to explore the conceptual as well as visual possibilities of the medium. The experimental nature of reproductive image development and exploitation, design application, and medium integration all play an undeniable role in printmaking's contribution to a contemporary visual arts education.
