Center for Visual Resources

The UT Dallas Center for Visual Resources contains approximately 100,000 slides and 2,100 digital images of art and architecture from prehistory to the present.

The Center for Visual Resources serves as a teaching resource for the faculty of the School of Arts and Humanities. Slides and images are also circulated to students for presentations in Arts and Humanities courses.

The slide collection is cataloged according to the Santa Cruz system, which organizes the images according to medium, country, century, artists, subject matter and/or date of the work.

The Center for Visual Resources is staffed part-time by curator Dr. Dianne Goode (972-883-6341) and an assistant.
