Director's Corner

Greetings from the Alumni Relations and Annual Fund! This recently formed office is here to serve the needs of the UTD alumni and former students and to encourage UTD alumni to support the mission of UTD. The office also works closely with the UTD Alumni Association in carrying out its mission and support for the university. Two staff members are available to assist you:

Erin Dougherty (B.A. '03), joined the staff in January 2006. Erin works with both alumni programming and the Loyalty Fund and is responsible for the technology offerings of the office as well as the Alumni Association, including the association website, alumni emails, etc. Erin is currently working toward a master’s degree in public administration at UTD.

Dr. Kayla Price joined the UTD alumni staff in July 2006, with twelve years of professional experience working with alumni relations and fundraising at Texas A&M-Commerce and the University of North Texas.

Your input and involvement are always welcome. The office may be reached by email at [email protected] or by phone at 972-UTD-ALUM. For an updated calendar of alumni events, to register for events or to find out more about the Alumni Association and Alumni Relations, please visit

We Are Listening...
Did you make a permanent "comet connection?" If you met your spouse at UTD, we want to hear your love story. Send us details, in 250 words or less, about how you met to [email protected]. We will print stories in the March issue of the Alumni Link. Deadline for consideration is Wednesday, February 14.
Tell us your favorite campus traditions and why you like them. Did you attend Holiday Sing or participate in the Rites of Spring? Maybe Oozeball was your sport. Send us your popular and/or little known UTD traditions and why you remember them to [email protected].
