Loyalty Fund
Giving Back

The newly revised Loyalty Fund allows alumni to assist the university in reaching tier-1 research status. One of the 15 criteria used by US News & World Report to determine which universities will receive tier-1 research status is the alumni giving rate. For this reason, it is important for alumni to give to the Loyalty Fund. US News & World Report only gauges the percent of alumni who donate, so every donation counts. Any amount will aid the university in our quest to be recognized with tier-1 status.

In order to reach our goal for fiscal year 2006-07, an additional 846 alumni need to make a contribution. To make a secure contribution or to read more about the Loyalty Fund visit our secure website at

We Are Listening...
Did you make a permanent "comet connection?" If you met your spouse at UTD, we want to hear your love story. Send us details, in 250 words or less, about how you met to [email protected]. We will print stories in the March issue of the Alumni Link. Deadline for consideration is Wednesday, February 14.
Tell us your favorite campus traditions and why you like them. Did you attend Holiday Sing or participate in the Rites of Spring? Maybe Oozeball was your sport. Send us your popular and/or little known UTD traditions and why you remember them to [email protected].
