Sheel Dodani (BS '07) is a winner of the Merck Index Women in Chemistry Scholarship, given to outstanding women entering into a graduate program in synthetic, organic, or medicinal chemistry, from the pharmaceutical firm Merck & Co. Dodani will begin pursuing her Ph.D. in chemistry this fall at the University of California, Berkeley.

Clint Taylor ('04) a recent graduate and active member of the UTD Alumni Association was hit on his motorcycle on the North Dallas Tollway on Mother's Day and was critically injured. Clint has suffered numerous broken bones and a traumatic head injury. His condition has slowly been improving over the last few weeks, but with the significance of his injuries his progression has been slow. The doctors are expecting Clint to move out of ICU in the next week and then he will begin rehabilitation. Clint was a very active participant on the UTD Campus. He was a member of the UTD Rugby Team as well as a member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity. Please email: Jenny Bolger '04 at [email protected] for information on Clint's condition.

Taylor Hayden (BA '00) is screening his newest feature-length digital film, "Kiss and Cry," a "modern day re-telling of Bluebeard," at Studio Movie Grill in Addison at 7:30 pm on Thursday, June 28, 2007. Hayden, an actor and award-winning director, now lives in Los Angeles, California.

Steven Phelps (BA '99) recently assumed duties as Art Director for Cowboys & Indians magazine in Dallas. He previously served as Photo Editor at Texas Lawyer magazine.

Ralf Greenwald (BA '96, MS '98, PhD '02) recently received the Senior Lecturer of the Year Award from the UT Dallas School of Behavioral and Brain Sciences. Greenwald is currently a visiting assistant professor at UT Dallas.

Lisabeth (Evans) Mackall (MS '94) was recently promoted to Regional Director of Rehab for Progressive Step Rehab. She says, "It has been a pleasure to work with this company as a Rehab Director, and now it is my pleasure to be serving them in a broader capacity."
