New benefits and favorite events make 2008 great for UT Dallas alumni!

New Benefits
for UT Dallas Alumni
The UT Dallas Career Center has always offered all UT Dallas alumni free access to many of its professional services, including mock interviews, seminars, and Career Fairs, but now they've extended their offerings one step further. All UT Dallas alumni can now search the Career Center's Career Works online job postings for free. Visit the Career Center's website to learn more about Career Works and to create your free account.

The Alumni ID card is your new pass to all things alumni at UT Dallas. This free ID card replaces the Alumni VIP card and allows UT Dallas alumni to receive the discounted alumni membership rate at the Activity Center, discounts on most Arts and Humanities events, and entrance into the Career Expos. Request your card from the Student Union's Info Depot. More information is available on the UT Dallas Alumni website.

Favorite Events: We hope to see you there!
The 2008 Wine Tasting at III Forks is not to be missed. Last year's event, guided by III Forks Sommelier Dennis Haley (B.S. '99) featured private tours of the wine room and kitchen, and a tasting of several signature hors d'oeuvres and wines. This is the perfect event to share some time and a glass of wine with special friends.

UT Dallas' signature alumni program, the Alumni Awards Dinner, will honor five of the university's most distinguished alumni: Dr. Rufus Green (M.B.A. '96), Mr. Charles Davidson (M.S. '80) and Ms. Nancy Davidson (B.S. '80), Dr. Yi Zhao (M.S. '92), Mr. Wei Dong (M.S. '99), and Ms. Jody Nelsen (M.B.A. '97). It will be held on campus March 29, so register today and save the date!

The alumni network is always growing, and our Jazz at the DMA summer signature event on May 8 will help kick things into high gear. Join other UT Dallas alumni and President Daniel at 1717 Restaurant in the Dallas Museum of Art for an evening of great art, great food, and great networking.  A live jazz band will play downstairs. This event is free for UT Dallas alumni and parking is complimentary.  Please register online.
