7th Annual Comet Classic Golf Tournament

Morning shotgun at 8:30 a.m. Afternoon shotgun at 1:30 p.m. Fees are $125.00 per person or $500 per foursome.Corporate packages are available. Fees include greens fee, cart rental, prizes and refreshments. Individual registrations are welcome (teams will be assigned). Jalonick Memorial Distinguished Lecture: Major General Donald W. Shepperd

This year's George W. Jalonick III and Dorothy Cockrell Jalonick Memorial Distinguished Lecture Series speaker is Major General Donald W. Shepperd. He served as the Air National Guard director at The Pentagon in Washington, D.C., where he was responsible for formulating, developing and coordinating all programs, policies and plans affecting the almost 117,000 Air Guard members in more than 1,300 units throughout the U.S., the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam and the Virgin Islands. He graduated from the fourth class of the U.S. Air Force Academy in 1962. He is a command pilot, having flown more than 5,000 hours. He flew 247 fighter combat missions in Southeast Asia. Major General Shepperd retired from the military Sept. 14, 2000, and is currently a military analyst for CNN. Seating is limited. A reception will follow in the McDermott Library's special collections area, where patrons can meet Maj. Gen. Shepperd. Luncheon and inaugural meeting of the Dallas Chapter of Women in Technology, International (WITI)

On Thursday, June 26th, the School of Management’s Global Leadership EMBA program (GLEMBA) will be sponsoring a luncheon for the newly formed Dallas Chapter of Women in Technology, International WITI.  WITI supports women who use the power of technology in their careers and provides networking and educational roundtables and events.

This inaugural meeting and luncheon is free to all prospective members.
