Katherine Stenzel (BA '81) is the current Publications Director for the American Association of Malaysia (AAM). She also serves as the membership database coordinator for the KL American magazine and AAM website. The American Association of Malaysia is a non-profit organization comprised of both Americans & non-Americans living in Malaysia. The organization has a membership of over 300 families and serves as a social and support network that emphasizes giving back to the local community. Along with her work at AAM, Katherine and her fiance are also planning to be wed on
December 21, 2009, in Vermont.

Kathy Blanck (BS '82) was featured in the Dallas Business Journal's Enterprise Zone for the success of her new business venture, Vignon, Inc. Her certified woman-owned business enterprise provides professional IT services and solutions to small businesses. Kathy attributes the success of her company to a focused effort on providing services to the public sector, government, and utility companies that were beginning to experience an aging work force. Her company has experienced a large amount of growth through the aid of partnerships with companies such as SAP and BearingPoint Inc.

UT Dallas Alum- Heather ChastainHeather Chastain (BS '98) became President of Celebrating Home, a new company formed from Home and Garden Party's acquisition of the former Dallas-based Home Interiors. Celebrating Home, headquartered in Marshall, Texas, is a direct sales company that has over 125,000 home party planning associates all over the country. The unveiling of the new Celebrating Home brand was done at a national leadership retreat in Cincinnati earlier this year.

Julie Johnson (BA '98) a real estate agent specializing in environmentally conscious homes in Dallas, Texas, recently unveiled on her website, Relocate Frisco, a full-fledged search engine that offers a user-friendly search of MLS listings by type of home, number of bedrooms, number of bathrooms and price. Additionally, a proprietary, one-of-a-kind map search gives visitors the option to look for a home in a specific area of Dallas or Fort Worth and see its location on a map. Her new website also includes a blog that is updated regularly with posts on national real estate news and Dallas housing market news.
