On March 24 (11 a.m. - 3 p.m.), the Activity Center will be home to one of UT Dallas' most valued traditions, the spring Career Expo. UT Dallas began hosting Career Expos in 1978, but it was 20 years later that attendance began to grow dramatically. Beginning in 1998, UT Dallas alumni were invited to participate. Prior expos were open only to current UT Dallas students. While contacting alumni to try to increase employer participation, the Career Center learned that many alumni were also interested in attending.

Now, almost 50 UT Dallas alumni come back to recruit and over 300 UT Dallas alumni attend annually. Since 2005, attendance has almost doubled.

In addition to a Spring and Fall Career Expo, the Career Center hosts expos focused on education, health care and public agency employment.
