Todd Fechter is an Associate Professor of Computer Animation in the School of Arts, Technology, and Emerging Communication (ATEC). His teaching focus is pre-production design, modeling and texturing, as well as various studio courses. He has worked on numerous film and television series including The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius, and The Book of Life. His past positions include Head of Environment Modeling, Modeler, Rigger, and Set Dressing artist.

Fechter’s personal creative work is focused on stylized animation using simplified production processes. His research interests involve the application of animation methodologies and practices to better enable learning, teaching, and user interaction.
