CURRENT RESEARCH

UTD Couples Sleep Study

We are currently recruiting couples who are living together or who are married for the Couples Sleep Study. The purpose of this study is to understand how relationship functioning, sleep, and health-related physiology are related.

You and your partner will be asked to participate in two 2.5 hour laboratory sessions in which you will participate in individual activities and discussions together (physiological responses will be monitored and some activities will be videotaped).

Your sleep will be monitored at home, and we will ask you to sleep for a certain amount of time prior to each laboratory session. To compensate you for your time, you and your partner will receive up to $310 as a couple. You will also be provided with a sleep profile.

We are looking for couples who

  • are living together or who are married.
  • are non-smokers.
  • are between the ages of 18-45.
  • are not pregnant or have children under 5 years of age.

If you and your partner are interested in participating, please complete the online screening or contact us for more information (Phone: 972-883-4452, Email: [email protected])
