Community Emergency Response Team Training

When: September 18, 2012-October 4, 2012

Classes will be held Tues and Thurs afternoons 1:00-4:00pm, starting Sep 18 and ending on Oct 4.

The final drill will be held on Saturday, October 6 from 8:00am until 12:00noon.

The dates and tentative schedule for the Fall CERT class are as follows:

Tues Sep 18, 1:00-4:00- Intro to CERT, Disaster Preparedness

Thurs Sept 20, 1:00-4:00- Disaster Medical Operations Part 1 & 2

Tues Sep 25, 1:00-4:00- Fire Safety, Fire extinguisher training, size up, cribbing

Thurs Sep 27, 1:00-4:00- Review, Search and rescue, Triangulation

Tues Oct 2, 1:00-4:00- CERT Organization, Command and Control, Terrorism and
                                       CERT

Thurs Oct 4, 1:00-4:00- Review, drill preparation

Sat Oct 6, 8:00-12:00- Final Drill
