Reporting and Close-Outs

Terms and conditions associated with grants and contracts almost always include reporting requirements. The Office of Sponsored Projects will outline common reporting requirements of a sponsored project. We’ll discuss specific elements sponsors require in progress reports and the typical submission process. The Office of Post-award Management will discuss effort reporting.  This session will also take faculty and staff through the process of closing out a grant account. The Office of Sponsored Projects will describe their process and explain what is needed to initiate close out. The Office of Post Award Management will discuss common financial issues which arise throughout the life of the grant which can cause potential problems at the close out stage.
