UT Dallas Dining will host Celebrity Chef Bal Arneson Tuesday, March 31, in Dining Hall West (DHW) for a meal and book signing from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Chef Bal specializes in cooking healthy, Indian-inspired food with an infusion of spices. Along with being a Food Network and Cooking Channel host, she has authored several cookbooks and served as a judge on Iron Chef America.
Her featured menu items will be available in the salad bar and stir fry cooking area of DHW, and other stations will be open for standard menu items during the event. The price for lunch will be the standard walk-in rate of $9.84, or a Comet Card meal swipe for those with meal plans.
The University Bookstore will also have Chef Bal's cookbooks available for purchase at the event and in-store.
