Sustainability & Student Volunteerism - Texas Arbor Day Tree Planting
Friday, Nov 4, 2016
8:30 a.m. - 11 a.m. Location: Texas Instruments (T.I.) Plaza in North Mall

Trees make our campus cleaner and greener!  Celebrate Texas Arbor Day with the Office of Student Volunteerism (OSV) & the Office of Sustainability and assist with planting trees on campus.  Learn about the many steps it takes to plant a tree and then get your hands in the dirt and put your new skills to the test!

Volunteers will meet at the Texas Instruments (T.I.) Plaza in North Mall at 8:30am and then walk together to the service site where they will volunteer from 9:00am-11:00am. Ribbon cutting and comments from UT Dallas administration will begin at 9:00am.

Tools, trees, and supplies will be provided. This event requires some outdoor manual labor. Closed-toe shoes are required. This event will take place rain or shine (with the exception of severe weather), so please dress for the weather.

In partnership with UT Dallas Facilities Management and the Office of Sustainability.
