Sips of Science: Saved by Sweat
Tuesday, Nov 14, 2017
7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Location: Plano Kitchen and Bar (1010 E. 15th Street)

What if a watch could monitor glucose levels or warn the wearer of an impending heart attack, just by measuring molecules in your sweat? Dr. Shalini Prasad and her team are working on wearable, noninvasive biosensors that could do just that. Join us as Dr. Shalini Prasad, David Kinnamon, and Devangsingh Sankhala discuss their current work and where they hope it will go.

About Sips of Science: Sips of Science is a community outreach program organized by the University of Texas at Dallas Office of Graduate Studies. Sips of Science events are free and open to the public and usually occur each month at Angela’s at the Crosswalk. Drinks are on you. Knowledge is on us.
