Publishing your research in academic journals is one of the most important things you can do as a scholar. For those who have never published before, the process can seem very confusing. This workshop will introduce participants to the basic steps involved in publishing academic research in any discipline. Participants will learn how to choose an appropriate journal, communicate with a journal’s editorial team, tailor a manuscript to a journal’s expectations, and respond to editorial decisions.
Light refreshments will be served. Registration is not required for this event. Please arrive a few minutes early to ensure yourself a good seat.
